The Nordson DAGE 4000 bond tester system can be configured to perform multiple bonding characterizations including pull and shear tests. Ball shear and die (< 6mm) shear are currently available. The tooltip can apply shear force with multiple load ranges (10kg/20kg/40kg/100kg) and 0.01% max load accuracy. Destructive (Applying an increasing load until breaking the bonding structure) or non-destructive (applying a constant load for a specific duration) modes are available.
